Glados {GLaDOS is responsible for testing and maintenance in the Aperture Science research facility in all titles. While GLaDOS initially appears in the first game to simply be a voice that guides the player, her words and actions become increasingly malicious as she makes her intentions clear. The second game, as well as the Valve created comic Lab Rat, reveals that she was mistreated by the scientists and used a neurotoxin to kill the scientists in the laboratory}

    $\begingroup$ If you gave some traits of GLaDOS that show what feats of learning, planning, language comprehension it is capable of (rather than assume familiarity from experts on this site), then asked "How do these features compare with current state-of-the-art AI?" it might be on topic here. One very short point: The level of self-awareness and emotional responses from typical fictional AIs are not feasible currently beyond pre-scripted behaviour by game designers and film script writers. $\endgroup$ – Neil Slater Mar 11 '19 at 19:36
  • $\begingroup$ I've re-tagged and am provisionally leaving this open, but it would be good if you could provide more details on GLaDOS' capabilities and creation, if you want to avoid the question being closed. $\endgroup$ – DukeZhou Mar 11 '19 at 20:36
