Anyone here know if the image-recognition/text-recognition/etc features of Google Vision API use the same trained models as the image-recognition/text-recognition/etc of Firebase's ML kit? If they don't which one do you think is better? (I've tried, and failed, to find the answer on the web.)

I realize Google owns both of them, but one would think that if both are essentially the same, then this fact would be stated very clearly throughout multiple channels on the Internet. (It's not.)

I do believe at least the text-recognition is the same, because both use OCR. But I'm unsure about the image detection aspect.
